...or at least a list to follow for this year. (skip this post to see the recent ones) I want this list to be as realistic as possible because I really want to achieve everything in this list. So here goes:

1. Eat Healthier. I swear if I keep my eating habit this way, sooner or later, my arteries will clog up. This won't be too hard, I think, since I've been eating a lot of greens & tofu lately... I haven't touched any red meat since December either! Which is surprising since I love to eat steaks!
2. Write on my LJ (and my other journal) at least once a week. I don't have any English subjects anymore, so this is a good way to keep my grammar in check.
3. Watch 50 movies this year. I know someone who's list includes watching 100 movies this year, but I doubt that I can do that so 50 it is! I've watched Spiderman 3 (last January 1 on HBO) & a local movie, Shake Rattle & Roll 10 (last January 2 at Rockwell). Only 48 movies left! With Harry Potter & the Half-blood Prince, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Marley & Me, Slumdog Millionaire, Bride Wars, Bedtime Stories, Confessions of a Shopaholic, etc. coming out this year, this one will be a breeze! :)
4. To have at least FIVE (5) rolls of film to develop. I have a Fisheye that's been gathering dust in my closet.. I've only used it twice since I bought it last July!
5. Eat something exotic. Provided that it's healthy, of course. The only 'exotic' thing that I've ever ate in my life was sea cucumber. It was super slimy & gross. :| Oh, I also ate frog legs 2 days prior our frog dissection back when I was in 2nd year HS. Taste exactly like chicken. Anyway, I've always wanted to try those chocolate covered grasshoppers & dried worms ever since I saw them on a street in Bangkok!
6. Step out of my comfort zone. Well, step out of my FEET comfort zone. I've been wearing Havaianas every day to school, it's not funny anymore. I think I'll wear my other shoes more often to school. And buy more flats & glads.
7. Travel. I don't know where, I don't know when... But this year, I will. :)
8. Do something I've never done before. The possibilities are endless seeing as I haven't commuted all by myself (which is impossible unless I take the trains), can't drive yet, haven't watched a movie all by myself, haven't sent out a letter via snail mail, haven't baked anything fully from scratch.. Soooo many things to do! I'm excited!
9. Never ever take anything for granted again. Ever.

So I just watched it. As I’ve said I watched it at Trinoma, 12nn. Cinema was PACKED - from kiddos to the oldies. It was amazing. :) During the intro of the film, the whole cinema was so quiet. As in you can literally hear a pin drop. It was pretty chilling.

Thoughts: First off, the dancers.. The one who plays Sasha in 90210 (Mekia Cox) is one of the main back up dancers in ‘This is It’! Crazy, huh? Props for all of them, they were goooood! The guys were so full of energy that I just want to dance with them :))) Orianthi Paraganis, the GIRL guitarist, was so hottt. Hahahaha :p But seriously, woooow she can shred! <3 And I have a slight girl crush on the Afro-haired girl, Judith Hill, one of the back up vocalists! I just want to bury my face in her hair, I don’t know why :)))) So fluffyyyy! & I just love her voice!! Her tandem with MJ for ‘I Just Can’t Stop Loving You’ was so nice! :)

The effects were so asdfgahjkdflsl WOW. I love the fire chase effect! SUPER BONGGA! :P Wow wow wow. Favorite parts would have been the Thriller, They Don’t Care About Us and Beat It! THRILLER = <333 Did I just not notice it, or he really didn’t do the moonwalk (just the sidestep moonwalk?) during the Billie Jean part? Aww, that’s always the one thing that I look forward to seeing every time I watch him perform Billie Jean.. Oh well.. The Thriller part made up for it anyway! I just really love it <3 Oh, plus the Earth Song! Little girl was a cutie. :)

But honestly, if MJ was able to see this film… He would’ve been disappointed. It was good, yes. But the editing was done sloppily, it was so mediocre! I don’t like. The fonts used was asdgashkfjla As a computer major (ha ha ha), I can say that the font used was just a disgrace :[ Especially when the film ended, and his name was flashed ASDFJKLKSLD It was a cross between Edwardian Script and Monotype Corsiva! Just imagine that! :| I know fonts aren’t a big deal but it was just incredibly frustrating. The only good thing about it is you could really tell that the “This is It” concert would have been amazing. :’[ But the film… UGH. It was evident that it was rushed! It would have been better if they waited for a few months to polish the film. AEG/Sony, I blame you for this! :|

Anyway, Michael Jackson… No words. NO WORDS. He was so good.. SO SO SO GOOD. He was 50, was pretty sick and stressed but he managed to do all those??? His energy was just unbelievable! HE CAN STILL DANCE, HE CAN STILL SING! His voice was still soooo smooth. <333 But he really was too thin! :( And yes, I saw the layers of clothes he wore to make it look like he wasn’t underweight. Grabe lang. I can’t imagine how did all those practices with that weight of his! But I guess it’s in his nature na, so you could see how determined he was to do all the things perfectly. He was really amazing! <3 Ily, MJ! <333

Oh, and I super love how the people in the theater applauded after the film. It was so genuine. It wasn’t a thunderous applause, it was actually pretty soft.. But you could tell it was full of love and gratitude. The feeling after the clap was amazing. Parang everything and everyone was at peace. Or everyone was just thoughtful. No one was saying anything, but you could tell.. Everyone really loved him. As MJ said, L-O-V-E, love. ;)

P.S. For some reasons, I really want to punch Kenny Ortega in his fucking face. I don’t know why, but I just do. I hate him but I can’t point out why, exactly.. The ending just screams, “Directed by ~*KENNY ORTEGA”!!!! Eughhhhhh. :|

At the beginning, as you know.. It was the usual. Boy meets girl, boy fell in love, boy confides with friends, etc. Except this movie made my heart tingle like crazy in every scene. I was so, so, so giddy. I can even feel the butterflies in my stomach. & I want to squeeze Summer (Zooey) for being adorable, and I just want to have my own Tom (Joseph). And then towards the latter part.. I just want to go home, curl up on my bed, and cry myself to sleep (Joseph Gordon-Levitt on my bed, optional). Which I did. Minus the curling up on the bed and sleeping. Literally, after the movie, I told my Mom I wanted to go home. I was so depressed ashfksjgl. But, 500 days of Summer.. Really amazing.

*Wrote this days ago :P It was just shown here last Oct 21st!

I'll try to update something more coherent and interesting this week since I'm on my termbreak. Well that's if anything interesting will happen... Maybe I should do an ADIML. Idk. Anyway, later.

UP is finalyl showing here in the PI! So I just had to watch it even though I have so many things to do :p It was SO worth it. The film was sooooo beautiful, I’m not even exaggerating. The story was both heart-warming and heart-wrenching! I love the first part of the movie where they showed how Carl and Ellie’s love story started! So cute! Their love GMH :) The characters are all too lovable - Mr. Fredicksen, Ellie, Russel, Kevin, Dug! <3 Mr. Fredicksen’s love is just too amazing. I want to find somebody to grow old with, too. They were just too adorable together. Plus I want someone like him who would make my dream come true when I fail to make it come true myself. :) <3 The lines are well-written and the effects used were amazing as always! Pixar never fails. :) This might just be my favorite Pixar animated movie! :) Next would be Monsters Inc. then Toy Story 1&2 then Ratatouille! I love Pixar! <3

I first read the book back in 2004, found out it was going to be made into a movie back in 2005. 4 years have passed, and it’s finally here. I cannot not see this movie even though I was a bit hesistant to see it because I really love the book. It’s 2nd to my list of favorite books ever (1st being Harry Potter, of course).

So let’s see… Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana… Together? Didn’t work for me. But they were both pretty amazing in the movie. I just didn’t see any sparks between them. Unlike Rachel and Ryan Gosling in The Notebook where their chemistry was just intense. But her and Eric? I don’t think so. Didn’t really ‘felt’ anything throughout the whole movie. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. The movie, in a nutshell, was really good. I was surprised to see that they didn’t take out much and they actually followed the book. But I can’t lie and say I didn’t get bored at some parts because I did. Bored enough to notice that Eric Bana might be cross-eyed. Heh. I know for sure that it’s hard to give justice to the book because it’s just that good. It was a nice try though. I’d give it a 7, maybe 8, but definitely not a 10.

Oh, you know what? Next week's no good for me... The Jonas Brothers are in town. But any week after that, it’s totally fine.

The movie's pretty much laaame but I loooove it nonetheless! <3 I love Vegas! Hope to go back there soon! :) Watch it with your friends! Go! Anyway, throughout the movie all I could think of was how I love how guy's friendship work. It's so different from girl's. They have it easy, and I'm super jealous because of that hahahaha I wish I was a guy HAHAHAHA not really but, you know.

BRADLEY COOPER IN A SUIT = FULL OF WIN. Especially when he was wearing that all black suit! *Swoooooooooooooons* Ahhhhhhhhh super super super hot. <3 The movie just reminded me how much I loved him in Kitchen Confidential. Super hot and just overall sexxxyyy. Going to rewatch Kitchen Confidential now! <3

Finally had the time to watch GI Joe. Storyline was awful, cinematography was awful... Sienna Miller's acting made me cringe.. so freaking TERRIBLE. But Channing Tatum ('s body), Marlon Wayans (Ripcord) and the black ninja guy (Snake Eyes) made up for it. Loved the Rachel Nichols! Anyway, the movie kept me entertained, so I guess it's okay in the end... I guess.

Go Joe! Hahahahahaha K.

My Sister's Keeper is one of my favorite book ever. I was pretty disappointed by the way they changed the ending in the movie.. But it's okay, it was still good. I suggest you bring fuckloads of tissues when you’re going to watch this. I haven’t cried like that since... The Notebook! It was a nice movie. :) After the movie ended, YOU CAN LITERALLY HEAR A PIN DROP inside the theater. Everyone was so quiet, it was kind of eerie.. but nice. Good to know it touched people, no? :)

I am currently incapable of stringing words into coherent sentences, so (contains spoilers..):

- The beginning was nice! It was how I imagined it would be except WAY BETTER! Except, in the book, I thought Professor Slughorn looked quite a bit like a bull frog, but I was surprised he looked normal in the film haha
- Ron, you are just the cuuuutest <3 I actually love Lavender-Ron! They were cute together! Although, obviously, he ends up with Hermione which is okay, too!
- Ahhh Draco... What happened to you? You look like a walking stick wearing a robe. Shame.
- Oh, I LOVED HOW THEY DRESS UP NOW! Very geek chic! No more robes, but that's okay!
- QUIDDITCH GAAAAAAAME!!!!!!!!! I was so stoked to see a quidditch game again!! I missed it A LOT!
- Some scenes, I believe, should have been edited out to make the ending better. Example: The burning of the Weasley's house. WHAT WHAT WHAT WAS THAT FOR??!
- MORE HAGRID SCENES, I SAY!!! I missed that giant!
- I now have higher respect for Michael Gambon! I still can't forget how he delivered "HARRY DID YEHH PUT YER NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIIIYER!!??" but I guess that's forgivable now haha He can never top Richard Harris' portrayal of Dumbledore, but he was good in this one! He's actually pretty calm in this movie. Very gentle. Very Dumbledore.
- Getting of the Horcrux = niiiiiiice scene! I don't think there's even any way to make it better! It was sooo good.
- GANDALF VS. GOLLUM SCENE MUCH! HAHA!
- Bellatrix, Frenrir Greyback, and the gang = weak! I didn't like it that much. They could've made it more interesting... Or stronger.. Oh well.
- Death of Dumbledore.. Hmm.. Might be the weakest point of the movie.. Hope they did it better :( It was like, *HERE COMES DRACO... HERE COMES SNAAAAPE OMG OMG! Avada Kedavra! .... Dead.* Eeep :| But it's okay, IT STILL MADE ME CRY :| "Severus.. Please." :((((( I was biting my lips all throughout the scene because I didn't want my cousins to hear me crying. Heh. The way the Hogwarts students and professors circled Dubledore's body was so touching, plus the way the camera pans on the face of Dumbledore... Genius, I think. Very serene The choreography of their wand movements was also a nice touch! Except I wanted to see the funeral. But oh well..
- The ending, when Fawkes the Phoenix flew out into the sunset, was a great closure for the death of Dumbledore. Great farewell.

All in all, I think the movie was pretty amazing! I know it's hard to fit 672 pages in a 2-hour and a half film, but David Yates did a very good job squeezing all the important scenes! IT WAS WORTH THE 1 YEAR+ WAIT! I dunno why they were threatened by Twilight last year because THAT WAS NOTHING COMPARED TO THIS. Yeah, it did lack lots of parts, yeah, they kind of rushed some scenes, yeah, Snape was a bit weak (and pudgy oh my), but what the hell, ALL GOOD! The cinematography was AMAAAAAZING. Reminds me of HP Prisoner of Azkaban! Very Alfonso Cuaron. Very dark with a hint of comic relief inserted here and there. Works well, imo! Yates did a GREAT job with this one! Harry Potter, you do not disappoint ♥ I think it's safe to say that this movie is one of the best HP movie there is. Two thumbs up! Or three! Or four!

I've been so busy... too busy, so sorry for not updating much. Hm, Jacko's getting biiiiig now. Crazy how fast he grows..

Jacko = 2 months and 2 weeks old! Sorry I look like a total fuckhead there ahaha. And yes, I got my hair permed! :) It looks crazy there, but I swear it looks better in real life.

Oh, also, I dunno if you guys already saw this but:

I love my daddy, my only daddy
You make me happy when skies are gray
You never know dear, how much I love you
Please don’t take my daddy away
*Prince blows a flying kiss, then Paris blows a flying kiss*

Breaks my heart :( But they were adorable, yes they were ♥ Hope they grow up well! And please, pretty please, hope they grow up with their Grandma!

Who here saw it? Oh my, I couldn't stop crying especially during Brooke Shield's speech, Usher's Gone Too Soon, Reverend Al Sharpton's preach (ahaha), Jermaine's song and speech!!, Marlon's speech and MJ's daughter, Paris' last words :(((((

I Tumblr'd all throughout the memorial from 1030pm to 410am (here in the Philippines)! You can see the entries here if you want. :)

MJ's kids were all so adorable that it became even more hard to endure that he's already gone :( It was so heart-wrenching :( I just want to hug Blanket tightly and never let go. :(((((((

Look at how lost Blanket looks :( So heartbreaking :((

Paris, Blanket, Prince waving goodbye to their father :( Blanket's staring at his father's picture made me bawl when I saw this one :(((( He was holding that MJ doll from the very start :( It was so, again, heartbreaking :( And look at his white socks! Aww.. :(
